The ingredients needed to make Chevda Chana:
Get 250 gms Nylon poha
Take 1/2 cup peanuts
Get 1/2 cup dalia (roasted bengal gram)
Prepare to taste Salt
Take 1 tbsp dry corriender
Get 1 tbsp. Fennal seeds
Make ready 1 tsp. Asafoetida
Get 2 pc. Onion
Make ready 1/4 cup curry patta / curry leaves
Make ready 4-5 tbsp. Oil
Prepare 6-7 pc. Green chilli
Get 1/2 cup dry coconut slited
Take 1/4 cup sesame seeds
Prepare 1 tbsp sugar powder
Get For chana:-
Prepare 1 cup boil deshi chana / black chickpeas
Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder
Take 2 tbsp. Oil
Take to taste Salt
Make ready 1 pc. Onion
Make ready 1 pc tomato
Make ready 1 tbsp. Besan / gram flour
Get 1/4 tsp asofoetida
Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
Make ready 1 tsp. dry corriender cumin powder
Get as needed Garnish with sev
Prepare as needed Peanut
Get as required Coconut slit
Make ready 2 tbsp Roasted peanut
Steps to make Chevda Chana:
Roast poha on slow flame for 3-4min and take in a paraat.Soak chana for 6-7 hrs and boil add salt and 1tsp oil and make 7-8 whistle
Now heat oil add chopped onion asofoetida salt and saute. till it looks transparent add chopped tomato, besan saute properly add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry coriander, cumin powder,salt, boiled chana saute for a min. And add 2 glass of water cover and cook on a mid. slow flame lastly add garam masala.cook for 10 min on slow flame to enhance taste. And serve with chevda.
Now heat oil in big pan. Fry peanut, dalia and curry patta.take out in a plate.Add crushed dry coriander fennel seeds. And saute add sesame seeds onion slices and slited green chilli, dry coconut slit fry till turns black like birasta on slow flame for crunch. Add turmeric powder.and salt.
Now add roasted poha,peanuts,dalia and curry patta. Mix properly. Add garam masala and stir continuosly. All ingredients should resemble with each other and poha cook properly.. Lastly add sugar powder and turn off the flame.
Serve chivda chop onion and coriander serve. Delicious tasty chivdo chana is ready to serve.Add chana with gravy in chivda and and'joy 👍💖tasty tasty dish.
