The ingredients needed to make Chevda Chana:
  1. Get 250 gms Nylon poha
  2. Take 1/2 cup peanuts
  3. Get 1/2 cup dalia (roasted bengal gram)
  4. Prepare to taste Salt
  5. Take 1 tbsp dry corriender
  6. Get 1 tbsp. Fennal seeds
  7. Make ready 1 tsp. Asafoetida
  8. Get 2 pc. Onion
  9. Make ready 1/4 cup curry patta / curry leaves
  10. Make ready 4-5 tbsp. Oil
  11. Prepare 6-7 pc. Green chilli
  12. Get 1/2 cup dry coconut slited
  13. Take 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  14. Prepare 1 tbsp sugar powder
  15. Get For chana:-
  16. Prepare 1 cup boil deshi chana / black chickpeas
  17. Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  18. Take 2 tbsp. Oil
  19. Take to taste Salt
  20. Make ready 1 pc. Onion
  21. Make ready 1 pc tomato
  22. Make ready 1 tbsp. Besan / gram flour
  23. Get 1/4 tsp asofoetida
  24. Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
  25. Make ready 1 tsp. dry corriender cumin powder
  26. Get as needed Garnish with sev
  27. Prepare as needed Peanut
  28. Get as required Coconut slit
  29. Make ready 2 tbsp Roasted peanut
Steps to make Chevda Chana:
  1. Roast poha on slow flame for 3-4min and take in a paraat.Soak chana for 6-7 hrs and boil add salt and 1tsp oil and make 7-8 whistle
  2. Now heat oil add chopped onion asofoetida salt and saute. till it looks transparent add chopped tomato, besan saute properly add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry coriander, cumin powder,salt, boiled chana saute for a min. And add 2 glass of water cover and cook on a mid. slow flame lastly add garam masala.cook for 10 min on slow flame to enhance taste. And serve with chevda.
  3. Now heat oil in big pan. Fry peanut, dalia and curry patta.take out in a plate.Add crushed dry coriander fennel seeds. And saute add sesame seeds onion slices and slited green chilli, dry coconut slit fry till turns black like birasta on slow flame for crunch. Add turmeric powder.and salt.
  4. Now add roasted poha,peanuts,dalia and curry patta. Mix properly. Add garam masala and stir continuosly. All ingredients should resemble with each other and poha cook properly.. Lastly add sugar powder and turn off the flame.
  5. Serve chivda chop onion and coriander serve. Delicious tasty chivdo chana is ready to serve.Add chana with gravy in chivda and and'joy 👍💖tasty tasty dish.
