The ingredients needed to make Aata lachcha paratha:
  1. Get whole wheat flour
  2. Take Ghee for frying
  3. Take Salt
  4. Make ready Water as required
  5. Make ready aata for dusting

Steps to make Aata lachcha paratha:
  1. In a large bowl take aata, add salt and 2 tbsp ghee in it. Mix well. Gradually add water and knead a soft dough. Keep aside.
  2. After 10 minutes make lemon sized balls of the dough. Take one ball and roll it like a roti. Now spread ghee into this and dust aata allover the roti. Now fold this like accordion or saree pleats. Now stacked up all the pleats one over the other and roll it like a swiss roll. Dust aata on rolling board and rolled dough, now roll it again into 5-6 inch diameter circle. You can see layers clearly.
  3. Heat a tawa on high flame. Spread some ghee. Now place the paratha on heated tawa cook on both sides for few seconds now spread some ghee over paratha and cook until golden brown. Lachcha paratha is ready to serve.
  4. Serve hot with any sabji,picklesand papad. I serve it with matar paneer (posted earlier).
