  2. Prepare petite stewed tomatoes
  3. Get thick slices bacon
  4. Prepare flour
  5. Get vegatable stock or water

  1. over medium high heat
  2. chop bacon into small peices and fry till crispy
  3. slowly add flour one tablspoon at a time.. stirring constantly
  4. *do not let flour brown
  5. when flour is absorbed add tomatoes and continue stirring
  6. as it thickens add broth/water slowly(about 3 ounces at a time) still a stirring constantly
  7. turn down and simmer stirring occasionally…untill it reaches the consistency of gravy
  8. that's it your done….
  9. serve over rice…potatoes or use as a sauce for meat
