Instructions to make High protein granola snack:
  1. Chop almonds in food processor until some small chunks are left
  2. Chop raisins
  3. Chop up cacao chips in food processor until they are in small chunks
  4. Add first 5 (dry) ingredients and mix in bowl.
  5. Add in peanut butter and mix well. I had to do this step with my fingers
  6. Add in honey and stir
  7. Using a 1 teaspoon 'globed' style measuring spoon, scoop up mixture and press firmly to inside bowl or flat surface so the mixture takes on the rounded shape. I used a canola oil pan coating in the spoon and the flat surface to keep from sticking.
  8. When all the mixture is done, dust bite sized snacks with baking cocoa.

Granola is always a huge hit at my house. My boys love stirring it into yogurt, my husband loves snacking on it at work and I love sprinkling it on top of my smoothies. Since my family loves it so much, I set out on a missing to create a high-protein version filled with whole grain oats, hearty nuts. High in protein,but very high in sugar! and not all that great tasting. better off with porridge oats with milk and adding whey protein,much less sugar ,you get got.
